President Manuel G. Palomo spoke before 2, 000 global youth leaders during this year’s World Camp organized by the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) in Busan, South Korea on July 6 to 17, 2010.

President Palomo, who was appointed national adviser of IYF-Philippines, attended the events with Prof. Expectacion Gonzales, RP’s regional representative from Central Luzon.

Chosen to speak before the huge crowd because of his academic experience, MGP’s speech was witnessed by hundreds of thousands of people around the world through IYF’s media partner the Good News Network.

During his stay he was aided by South Korean National Assembly Vice Speaker Chung Hwa-Eui and by Parliament Member Ki Kwon Do, along with IYF founder Ock-Soo Park, who also invited the president to speak in their future world camps around the world.
His stay in Korea afforded MGP time to visit the 125 year-old Yonsei University in Seoul, where he finished his Master of Arts in Economics in 1970. Yonsei is considered one of the top universities in South Korea.

Yonsei University President Kim Han-Joong gave MGP a special Yonsei necktie as memento before his departure.###
