WU-P has opened Associate and Bachelor of Science courses in Radiologic Technology (ART and BSRT) with an enrolment of at least 15 students to begin classes in the associate level this semester.

The course was introduced along with the two-year Diploma in Midwifery.

Graduates of the three-year ART may pursue one more year of studies to earn the degree of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT). A professional in ART/BSRT is eligible for employment in hospitals and medical centers tasked with the operation of radiologic equipment.

The WU-P General Hospital uses the most modern equipments in Computer Tomography Scanning, DSA Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac Catherization, along with a Diagnostic X-ray machine and a Nuclear Medicine Unit.

WU-P is the only school that offers ladderized curriculum program for BSRT. Also, it is the only university which can arrange for graduates’ RadTech Board Examination in any US state to be taken locally, and will qualify successful examinees to practice their preferred area. ###
